1. By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.
2. The promoter of this prize draw is Horizon Platforms Limited operating through its brand PlatformSupermarket.com.

How to enter

8. The prize draw will include those currently on the promoter’s mailing list and all new subscribers to that mailing list up to Midday on 16th December 2024. Entries after that time and date will not be included in the draw.
9. To enter the prize draw simply subscribe to the promoter’s mailing list via the form on this page. 
10. The promoter will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.
11. No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to subscribe to the promoter’s mailing list.

The prize

12. The prize will be a 3-year contract hire of a Dingli JCPT0807PA platform including 3-year aftercare package. The contract hire will be situated in mainland UK (England, Scotland & Wales). This excludes the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and all the Scottish Islands. The contract hire will be subject to the promoter’s standard terms and conditions for contract hire.
13. The platform remains the property of Horizon Platforms Ltd and is for the sole use of prize-winner’s employer.
14. At the end of the 3-year term, the platform will be returned to Horizon Platforms Ltd.
15. Horizon Platforms Ltd agree to perform LOLER examinations every 6 months as required by law. These will be agreed at a time and date to suit the prize winner’s employer.
16. The promoter’s use of particular brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
17. The winner will be drawn at random.
18. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
19. The prize may be substituted with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the control of the promoter make it necessary to do so.
20. The decision of the promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winner announcement

21. The winner will be notified after 16th December 2024 via the email provided during subscription to the promoter’s mailing list.
22. The promoter will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times.
23. If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they will lose their right to the prize, and the promoter reserves the right to draw and notify a new winner.

Receipt of the prize

24. Delivery date will be agreed by prize winner and Horizon Platforms Ltd. It must be delivered to the prize winner’s employer’s site in mainland UK.

Data protection and publicity

25. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by the promoter for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.
26. All entrants may apply for details of the winning entrant by contacting us at sales@platformsupermarket.com.
27. The winner agrees to the release of their first name and place of work to any other prize draw entrants if requested via PlatformSupermarket.com.
28. An announcement of the winners first name and place of work will be made via PlatformSupermarket.com’s / Horizon Platforms Ltd social channels, website and trade press.
29. All personal information shall be used in accordance with the promoter’s Privacy Notice.

Limitation of Liability

30. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the promoter does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, save that the promoter does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence. Your statutory rights are not affected.
31. Winner takes all responsibility for ensuring the safe use of the platform and that operators are IPAF trained to 3A standard.
32. The winner shall be liable for any damage to the platform during its use. Damage must be reported within 24 hours. Upon receipt of damage report, Horizon Platforms Ltd will investigate and provide a damage report with cost of repair to the winner. The winner shall be liable for all damage costs.
33. Any breakdowns will be covered by Horizon Platforms Ltd as part of the terms of the contract hire.

General

34. The promoter reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
35. The promoter reserves the right to recall the platform at any time but will notify the winner of its intention to do so.
36. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
